A beacon is an intentionally conspicuous device designed to attract attention to a specific location.  What better object to get inspiration from!

Beacons help guide navigators to their destinations.  Visual beacons range from small, single-pile structures to large lighthouses or light stations and can be located on land or on water.  Lighted beacons, which this collection is inspired by, are simply called lights.  Just like a true beacon, this piece is designed to attract attention.
